2005-12-05 [Blood Raven]: Clerics are a totally pwning class, though. They aren't very good at anything, but they do run a close 2nd to any other class. Plus, who doesn't like somebody who gets loads of healing spells every new day? :D

2005-12-05 [Duredhel]: I don't think nameless is talking about D&D clerics, cuz Shauna isn't a cleric at all, she's a typical RPG healer, but that's very different from a Cleric. I do love D&D clerics though, cmon they're both offensive, defensive and healing spellcasters who can wear heavy armor and are actually able to kick ass in melee! cmon what's there not to love?

2005-12-05 [Blood Raven]: they can't do massive damage. But they're very effective juggernauts :) And true, they were talking about something called Legend of Dragoon... who cares, when I read cleric I effectivly read: D&D v3.5 Cleric :P

2005-12-05 [Duredhel]: Same here, and they CAN do massive damage. I've seen it :P, I mean they're not wizards or sorcerers, but flame strike can pack a nasty punch. Specially a guy in magical full plate casing flamestrike.

2005-12-05 [Blood Raven]: yeah, it depends on how you use your spells, I guess :P but, fact remains, they don't have alot of offensive spells. Altogether, they lack magical versitality. But usually, they don't need it. Otherwise just take the Trickery Domain, or the Travel domain (if you take both, you can become a rogue-in-full-plate)

2005-12-29 [Duredhel]: It get very confusing with more chars, also, when breaking the party into subsettings you can break it in both even groups of two or three. Monster and exprience reward levels are also designe for 6 chars (that's why sometimes I even pause a party when a person drops out until we have another sixth char). If you had seven chars you would have to put in more enemies to make up the same amount of XP (even for just on extra char), otherwise leveling would be very small, and last but not least, with more than 6 chars, especially mages, there would be too many spells in effect over the turns to keep track of, and with more chars, AND more enemies, battles would be very long and tedious
